Preface
April has been a very busy month for us. We are continuing to work on the development of the VV stage; however, due to being short-staffed, the project may take longer than initial estimate.
The VV mechanism will significantly enhance security and reliability. However, a high level of security is not necessary in some cases.While it may not be advisable to showcase the benefits of Dante until all potential issues have been resolved, we recognize the importance of providing users with concrete use cases. Hence, we are developing an intuitive cross-chain application that will allow end-users to experience the beneficial improvement of cross-chain smart contracts. This application will be deployed on an open Testnet, which is a stable version of the previous inner Testnet.
Development in the ‘VV’ stage
- Complete the scaffold of the Solidity Technology stack for the VFP mechanism.
- Complete the scaffold of the Ink! Technology stack for the VFP mechanism.
Development of layered architecture
Service Presentation
- Design the data structure and on-chain verification mechanisms for VFP based on EIP-712.
Consensus Verification
- Design the verification and punishment mechanism for VFP.
Tokenomic and Ecosystem
- Design the details of the Tokenomic mechanism for off-chain data routing and malicious slashing.
- Prepare the cross-chain application, which will intuitively make end users understand what improvements Dante has achieved.
Test Network
- Preparing the open Testnet for cross-chain applications.
